Terms of Service - GovContractAlerts

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GovContractAlerts.com and related services operated by Zio Security, LLC ("Company," "we," "us").

1. Service Description

GovContractAlerts provides email notifications of federal contract opportunities sourced from SAM.gov, matched to subscriber-defined preferences. We aggregate publicly available government data and deliver it in a convenient format.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

Paid subscriptions (Pro and Pro+) are billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day refund policy for paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact us for a full refund. After 30 days, refunds are provided at our discretion.

5. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Contract opportunity data is sourced from SAM.gov and other publicly available government sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness, timeliness, or accuracy of any contract information. Always verify details directly on SAM.gov before submitting proposals.

6. CMMC Flags Disclaimer

CMMC readiness flags provided in Pro+ plans are based on automated text analysis of contract descriptions. These flags are informational only and should not be relied upon as definitive determinations of CMMC requirements. Always review the full solicitation documents for official cybersecurity requirements.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Resell, redistribute, or commercially republish our alert data without written permission.
Use automated systems to scrape or extract data from our service.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts.
Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

The GovContractAlerts name, website design, and proprietary matching algorithms are the property of Zio Security, LLC. Contract data sourced from SAM.gov is public domain.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zio Security, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost contracts, lost revenue, or missed opportunities.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting support.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bay County, Florida.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
